Applications are now open for the 2025/26 Athena Foiling Pathway squads. This pathway continues to deliver on its commitment to providing an accessible, high-quality training and development route into foiling sailing across the UK.
New for the upcoming season, the pathway has expanded to include dedicated U18, U23, and Women’s WASZP squads. These additions reflect a broader focus on tailored support and progression opportunities for a wider range of sailors.
The 'Train Alongside' Scheme remains a core component of the initiative, aiming to increase access to sailing for young people from diverse backgrounds. By removing barriers to entry and fostering inclusive participation, the scheme helps to shape the next generation of competitive sailors.
